Shaping AI-driven solution to help people with arthritis access relevant information and make better health choices.

Role: Senior UX Designer

Impact: Clara was successfully launched in >1.5 years and won an award.

  • Translated a complex AI model into an 0→1 award-winning app.
  • Established UX principles, methodology, and guidelines for both web and app.
  • Partnered with senior leadership, UI & dev teams to guide and align strategic decisions based on research insights.
  • Crafted Clara’s tone of voice and language to meet diverse needs, including those with low health literacy.
  • Designed an interactive experience that adapts to user’s context, such as type of arthritis and stage of the condition, and adapts its support over time as user needs change.

KFC South Africa | Kiosk UX & UI

Redesigning KFC South Africa’s kiosk, transforming it into a bridge where in-store and digital experiences meet.

Role: Lead UX/UI

Team: Product designer, data analyst, offshore engineering team

Impact: Kiosk redesign led to increase in store adoption from 84 to over 600 franchises. Designs were later adopted by UK, India, Kenya, Thailand, Malaysia, Trinidad & Tobago.

  • Facilitated workshops with product, engineering, R&D, and business development teams to co-create a unified future strategy.
  • Conducted research and trend analysis on kiosk environments globally, adapting insights for the South African market.
  • Design system strategically enhanced core features, including meal-maker, product add-on, meal upgrade and a new accessible mode.
  • Managed cross-functional product and design teams across Australia, South Africa, and India.
  • Improved usability drove a decrease of ordering time and increased overall customer satisfaction.

Designing a financial solution that elevates the banking experience for consumers and businesses on a global scale.

Role: Lead UX/UI Designer

Team: 7 person cross-functional team with offshore designers and engineers

Impact: Live in 10 countries, the product has been integrated by 42 fintechs.

  • Led extensive research on global markets, competitors, and emerging technologies for trend forecasting.
  • Conducted user interviews and contextual inquiries to inform the design process, resulting in an intuitive banking interface that balances security, compliance, and usability for mobile and web.
  • Partnered with product managers and engineers to define feature requirements and prioritise design enhancements, building a flexible, scalable design system.
  • Led UX/UI delivery across teams in Australia and the UK, ensuring a frictionless experience that balanced business requirements with user needs.

Australian National Maritime Museum | Web & Mobile UX

Redesigning a museum’s online platform for improved user experience, deeper engagement, and increased conversions.

Streamlining conversion and encouraging deeper engagement to support one of Australia’s biggest cultural institution.

Role: Senior UX Designer

Team: Product researcher, 2 UI designers, engineering team

Impact: Website was successfully launched, increasing ticketing and donations conversions as well user visits to deep level content.

  • Led discovery workshops and co-design sessions with teams from one of Australia’s top national museums and worked together to define their new digital experience. 
  • Boosted conversion by making ticketing and donations easier to find, weaving them naturally into the user journey in a non-intrusive and contextual way.
  • Designed a new search engine and simplified navigation by prominently featuring tags and filters to surface relevant content.
  • Turned research insights into practical, measurable improvements in collaboration with researchers, UI and engineers.
  • Partnered up with research team on usability testing to validated key conversion journeys, focusing on mobile.

Building a strategic and prioritised plan to enhance DVA’s digital experience.

Impact: The project was well received with stakeholders, securing buy-in for a full website redesign!

  • Ran interviews and usability testing with existing and new clients, focusing on uncovering what triggered website visits.
  • Further developed existing personas based on insights and built 3 customer journey maps.
  • Carried out a platform audit and heuristic analysis, prioritising issues based on their impact to build a prioritised improvement plan.
  • Delivered findings in a clear, impactful format, giving the client confidence take action.
